Warehouse Floor Deep Clean

GLC Cleaning ltd was approached by a global distribution centre in Thurrock, Lakeside to professionally clean their 80,000 square foot concrete warehouse floor. A floor that had not being professionally cleaned for 4 years. Our specialist team attended site to assess how the floor clean should be approached. Discussing the customers needs and expectations.

GLC Cleaning ltd started with a demonstration of the ride-on-scrubber drier ‘Tomcat’.

This customer was thrilled with the improvement of the floor. The high quality of the cleaning procedure, specialist equipment and cleaning solution. GLC Cleaning ltd was awarded the project for the warehouse floor deep clean.

Discussing further a suitable date, time and attendances to prevent disruption to the customers business and allowing our team to perform the works. This gave peace of mind and reassurance. Our accreditations for both ISO9001-2015 and SMAS strengthen our approach for competence, health and safety, Risk Assessment and Method Statement documents supporting this project.

Works commenced on a Friday evening from 6pm. Applying a 3 stage cleaning practice and completing by Sunday afternoon. Allowing our customer to view and provide their complete satisfaction before returning to business opening hours on the Monday.

This project provided not only an instant improvement of the floors appearance but to the cleanliness and floor safety to the daily working staff in this area.

The result of this specialist cleaning project and works is clear to see. A high standard and great conclusion. Resulting in a very happy customer.

 

The main activity area of this floor was heavily soiled and marked by the tyres of the forklifts. Once this area was cleaned a point mentioned and discussed was to alter the forklift tyres to non-marking tyres.

Ukrainian Refugee on the UK Scheme

Lovely to introduce our new lovely Rymma,  her employment started with us last Saturday (1st April) and she is exceptional in her work practice an attitude.

Hardly speaks any English, she is learning but we communicate by way of a translating app and all documents for employment and health and safety etc, converted to Ukrainian, as well as in English.

We would like to give her a lovely warm welcome.
