Our Amazing Staff
The key to any successful business is the staff. Cleaning is not a 9 to 5 job. Our staff attend sites in the early hours to the late evenings. Cleaning is very physical and a good workout for most. We are blessed to have such reliable, punctual, polite and helpful staff members.
We invest in our staff. Within the first month of employment in GLC Cleaning ltd, we require our staff to complete the Jangro LMS (Learning Management Solution) Including Modules for Infection Control and Health & Safety. Providing our company and staff member with module certificates.
Our staff are provided with contracts of employment and no zero hours. We use the Planday App to record their arrival and departure, for your reassurance and for their safety. All our staff are identifiable wearing company uniform and provided with enhanced DBS, should the customer require. We appoint the same cleaning operative(s) for every attendance. Moments for holiday or sickness are communicated at the earliest opportunity. Advising of the covering operative(s) for that period.
How we help our Environment
As a commercial cleaning contractor we use chemicals, plastic bottles and plastic bags. We are conscious and mindful of that impact upon the environment.
We source from suppliers the best and most suitable environmental friendly products to clean with.
Refilling bottles from a single concentrate allowing between 50 to 100 refills. Alternatively adding a bio-degradable sachet and water, creating a perfect mixed solution. This also lessens packaging and transportation to the sites we service throughout Essex.
Reviewing quantities and use of mop heads or refuse sacks within our site inspections. Disposing of waste water into a sink or toilet NOT external drains. Avoiding contamination to rivers and river life.
